I bought an Ambi Pur freshener for my toilet. You know, the ones that you insert at the side of the toilet bowl? Which then automatically releases perfumed scent after each flush.
Well, standing there at the bathroom section of the supermarket, I was dumbfounded by the variety of scents. They had lavender flowers, aquamarine, silk fresh, pine, forest green, and citrus. Yes, I remember all of them because I actually stood there for a good forty minutes trying to decide which is the most appropriate scent for my toilet and most importantly for myself..[Hey, its vital that I choose the right scent because its going to be my only company when nature calls alright?]
After what seemed like a century, ok..no, forty minutes..Oh, I already said that earlier, didnt I? So, I cant exaggerate now..DAMN. Yes yes, forty minutes later, I finally decided to go with forest green, only because the supermarket was closing and the announcement had been made three times and of cuz since I DETEST the colour blue and wouldn't buy ANYTHING that is blue..unless its my favourite chocolate wrapped in blue paper..For chocolate, I might forgo my principles.
But truth is, none of my favourite stuff comes in blue packages.
Ok, I digress.
So, I picked up the forest green and went to queue at the check out. I ignored the cashier's annoyed glares at me..(Im still wondering why she was staring at me..I mean, it was only 15minutes past the actual closing time what. I also wondered why I was the last person at the supermarket)..
Anyway, that aside.. I was still thinking if I should get some other scent. I know I know..I'm such a woman when it comes to this.
So, I eventually bought it, came back and fixed it first thing. I even flushed just to get a whiff of the scent. My oh my..it tasted..ahem, I mean smelt so fresh.. At that moment, I really did feel like I was in a forest..with buzzing bees and possibly a few bears. Ok, I kid..I kid.
Anyway, the smell drifts into my room sometimes..and each time I open the door, the scent greets me..and I run to the toilet to see my perfect green-liquid-filled Ambi Pur sitting there in it's place, looking so adorable and pretty.
Hey, dont shake your head at me okay..You will know what I mean if you owned the perfect Ambi Pur too..So, I suggest one thing..
STOP envying me!! Go out and get your own Ambi Pur. And remember, go to the supermarkets 2 hours before they close or you will have to rush and make your decision like me in forty minutes..which is just sad and shouldn't happen to anyone else.
