I have noticed that almost every single time I wear something extremely informal, I will have to attend an urgent meeting. Not just any ordinary meeting but one with the CEO of my client company or some other person just as important. WHY??

And just today I kept thinking more than once about how I felt so comfortable in my clothes and even felt like a teeny bopping student in my outfit. I also relished that I could dress this way to work on a non-meeting day, as I call it.

But alas, Murphy is a powerful man as we all know..so, here I am..extremely peeved at the news of a very important meeting later with the CEO. Drats.

Do.these.things.only.happen.to.me?

Good luck to me trying to convince them I am NOT actually a teeny bopping executive, fresh out of school...(for the 7,264th time in my very short term working life)
